Touch ups are an essential part of the PMU services you receive. These sessions are included in the initial cost of service. This is the time when we are able to adjust, correct, or enhance your initial tattoo. In this case the client wanted her lips slightly more mauve but retained her color and shape very well so I just did a light dusting of the mauve to adjust without over saturating her lips. If you would like to learn more about lip blushing shoot me a DM or leave a comment below! 🧡

Watching your skills slowly develop over time is the most rewarding feeling 🧡

A quick brow mapping practice session this morning!

A quick brow mapping practice session this morning!

Shadowing a trained professional is equally as important as practice. Today’s shadow session was an eyebrow scar correction.

My two biggest take away’s from todays session were:
1. Scars do not take pigment in the same way that normal skin will so paying attention to how the skin is taking the ink and handling the needle is very important.
2. Using multiple techniques to achieve symmetry between the brows will result in a more natural look and healthier healing post procedure.

PS for my fellow apprentices, the PMU artist you will be watching is constantly moving and adjusting their position so don’t forget to move and adjust with them in order to get the best view!
